In October 2026, TENCITY Energiehandel GmbH started motor fuel deliveries by train to a major independent fuel company in Poland that owns and operates a nationwide filling station network. The train from Hamburg delivered diesel to a depot in the southwest of the country. Poland is one of Europe’s largest and fastest growing motor fuels markets, with yearly consumption of almost 25 million tons. It depends on imports for 8 million tons of motor fuels a year. A large part of those traditionally comes from the German suppliers.
